When I'm At QSI...

<Talent Show>

I had the opportunity to co-host a dance-related event called the "Talent Show" alongside my dance teacher. As her assistant, I focused on creating opportunities for students to showcase their talents through performance. This experience allowed me to support my friends while building a passionate dance community at school.

<Christmas Banquet>

This picture represents my first solo performance during the Christmas Banquet, a meaningful experience that allowed me to grow as a dancer. My dance club and I have participated in numerous performances beyond the Talent Show and Christmas Banquet, including volunteer showcases outside of school.

<Drama Club>

My friend and I serve as dance captains in the drama club, where we choreograph pieces that enhance various scenes. We also work closely with our teammates to help them learn and perfect the choreography.

Dance Instructor in After-School Enrichment Program

In grade 9, I had the opportunity to be an instructor for an after-school enrichment program called ASA. (After-School Activities). This experience helped me develop my organizational and leadership skills while teaching dance classes to younger students. Through this initiative, I earned 2,200 RMB, which enabled me to support other school events. Such as the Fashion Show that I hosted afterward.

When I Transferred To Magee...

Diverse Cosmos

During the transition period to Magee, I faced challenges adapting to a new environment, but this experience ultimately make me to reach my full potential in my talent. I expand my dance club which was originally hosted at QSI, into what is now called Diverse Cosmos. The name symbolizes the myriad choices in life, with each person representing a cosmos and the infinity symbol reflecting infinite possibilities—a reminder not to confine ourselves to the present.

I designed our club’s t-shirts and organized fundraisers to support our activities, I also created and manage our club’s Instagram account, where I edit and post content to promote our dance community and keep our members connected and inspired. We sponsor talent shows, market fairs, and carnivals in the school, and we provide volunteer hours to the club members who contributed to the performances. We hold monthly classes to help members grow as dancers and create a friendly space for making friends and explore different dance styles.
